This policy explains what personal data Inovex AS processes when you visit stayrailwp.com, buy Stayrail Pro, or use the Stayrail plugins.

This website

stayrailwp.com uses no cookies, no analytics and no tracking. Fonts are served from our own server, so your browser doesn’t contact Google or other third parties when you read the site.

Like any web server, ours keeps technical logs (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) to keep the site secure and working. The logs are deleted automatically after 14 days. Our server is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH in the EU.

Buying Stayrail Pro

Purchases, licences and renewals are handled by Freemius, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record): it processes your payment, calculates VAT and sends receipts and licence keys. Payments are processed by Freemius’ payment providers, such as Stripe and PayPal. When you buy, Freemius collects the data needed for the purchase (such as name, e-mail, billing address and payment details) under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, e-mail, order details and licence status so we can provide updates and support.

Using the plugins

Stayrail (free) includes the Freemius SDK, which is used only to sell the optional Pro add-on. It runs in anonymous mode and sends no data unless you choose to opt in from the Plugins screen.

Stayrail Pro contacts Freemius to activate your licence, to check it, and to deliver updates. For this, Freemius receives your licence key, your site’s address, your WordPress, PHP and plugin versions, and the name and e-mail of the admin who activated the licence.

The statistics feature stores only daily totals of views and clicks in your own WordPress database. It sets no cookies and records no IP addresses or visitor IDs, and nothing is sent to us or to Freemius.

Why we process data

To deliver what you bought and support you (contract), to keep our site and services secure (legitimate interest), and to keep accounting records as required by Norwegian law (legal obligation).

How long we keep it

Order data is kept for as long as accounting law requires (currently 5 years in Norway). Support e-mails are deleted when no longer needed, and at the latest 3 years after the last contact.

Your rights

You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to its use, by writing to hei@inovex.no. You can also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).
